Improv at the Shoebox June 26, 2009
WHERE: The Shoebox Theatre, 2110 SE 10th Avenue, Portland
WHEN: Friday, June 26th, 2009 at 10:00 pm.
PRICE: $5 at the door. No reservations necessary.
Fast-paced, funny, and cheap. The Light-Fingered Five offer another monthly evening of improv comedy games, continuing their recession proof pricing at just $5 a ticket. Just because we’re poor doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. Join the Fivers for an escape to comedy, with audience participation and fun for all. Show starts at 10:00 pm, or as soon after Twilight Repertory Theatre’s production of Parents and Children as possible.
The Light-Fingered Five have been together for six years, doing comedy the old fashioned way—they make it up. If you’ve ever wanted to see something like “Whose Line Is It Anyway” live, this is your chance. In 2005 the LF5 defeated five different improv groups from around Portland in the Brody Theater’s improv competition, finally retiring as the tournament champions.
