The LF5 Think Inside the Box

The Shoebox, that is. On May 22nd the comedy improv group returns to its favorite local home, the intimate and cozy Shoebox Theatre, for an evening of improv comedy games. In light of the recession and rising unemployment, The Light-Fingered Five has also decided to return their ticket price to their pre-recession level of just $5 per person. Just because we’re poor doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. Join the Fivers for an escape to comedy, with audience participation and fun for all.

The Light-Fingered Five have been together for six years, doing comedy the old fashioned way—they make it up. If you’ve ever wanted to see something like “Whose Line Is It Anyway” live, this is your chance. In 2005 the LF5 defeated five different improv groups from around Portland in the Brody Theater’s improv competition, finally retiring as the tournament champions.

WHERE: The Shoebox Theatre, 2110 SE 10th Avenue, Portland

WHEN: Friday, May 22nd, 2009 at 10:00 pm.

PRICE: $5 at the door. No reservations necessary.
